The 5 Best Supplements for your Favorite Juicery Drinks

I go to the juicery far more often than I’d like to admit and every day I see the rookies at The juicery taking minutes (seems like hours) to figure out what kind of juice, smoothie, boost, or bowl they want and how to piece together the perfect concoction.

Even though I love seeing newbies joining the juice fam, let’s try and streamline this process!  For me and you 😉

The toughest part about picking a juice is figuring out what you should add to it, and if that weird green powder you’re thinking about putting into a PB Bliss will mess up the taste.

SO – here’s my 5 favorite supplements, and which drinks you should add into them.

Hemp Protein

Plant based protein is the new hot thing in the streets and hemp protein is the top tier choice.  Hemp protein is loaded with amino acids and all the essential amino acids your body can’t make on its own.  Not only is hemp protein loaded with protein, it also holds more fiber and omega 3 fatty acids than any other protein.  Also, if you’re looking to go dairy free, this is your whey protein alternative.

💥 Add this in with a Kale Storm.

Spirulina

The new ‘super food’, but for good reason.  Spirulina is an algae based supplement that is nutrient rich with protein, vitamin B, calcium, and iron.  With 20 calories (normal serving size) of spirulina you get 4 grams of protein, 15% of your vitamin B2, 11% of iron, 21% of copper and the list goes one.  Add this in with a pre workout shake or juice for prolonged energy and stable blood sugar levels.

💥 Add this into a Prana Smoothie.

Cacao Powder

Cocoa powder (not milk chocolate, but close!) is another super food that you wouldn’t think is good for you.  Raw Cacao powder is different than the chocolate we grew up with at home and refers to the Cacao tree in which it is derived.  Although normal chocolate powder is generally chemically made, the cacao powder holds some of the same properties to give it a similar, but slightly more bitter taste.  Found the in Amazon, it is the loaded with antioxidants (40 times more than blueberries) and is extremely nutrient rich.  This is perfect for a post workout or anytime of the day smoothie

💥 Add this into a Peanut Butter Bliss for a reese’s cup like smoothie.

Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne Pepper is one of the best supplements for your gut.  Generally, you think of cayenne pepper as something you add to spice your meal up, but it can be used for both!  It stimulates your bodies blood flow which in turn reduces acidity (muscle soreness), detoxifies, reduces cramps, and helps digestion by producing internal saliva.  Use this as an everyday inflammation reducer or add it in post workout.

💥 Add this into a Jungle Juice for an extra kick.

Ginger

I may be biased but I love the taste of ginger.  I put it in my shakes, smoothies, and hot tea.  It’s SO good in just water and lemon and it’s also good when cooked.  The benefits are immense and is great for digestion, inflammation, and blood sugar regulation.  Like I said, I consume ginger at all times and it can be good for you at any time of the day.

💥 Add ginger and lemon into a Green Juice ***how the drink really should be ;)****

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any combination at The Juicery, but these are my go-to’s.  Each store gives great explanations of each boost’s power, and if you ask the super helpful people behind the counter they’ll steer you in the right direction.  Happy juicing!
