5 Delicious Non-Alcoholic Cocktails

Sometimes I just want a tasty, refreshing cocktail… but without the added hungover and calories. While many ‘mocktails’ tend to be laden with sugar and artificial ingredients, I curated a list of 5 non-alcoholic cocktails that are robust with flavor and easy on the stomach. 

1. Grape Mojito


Directions: Add ice to a shaker, mix leaves, lime juice, simple syrup and grapes and shake. Add soda to your taste and shake again.

2. Virgin Paloma


  • 2 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • Soda

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake. Strain it over ice and top with soda.

3. Pineapple Ginger Fizz


  • 1 liter cold ginger ale (get the real stuff, check ingredients on labels!) 
  • 1 liter cold pineapple juice (get the real stuff, check ingredients on labels!) 
  • 1 piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 rosemary stem

Directions: In a large pitcher, mix ginger ale and pineapple juice. Top with ginger, orange and rosemary. Mix, and serve chilled.

4. Summer Cup


  • 25 ml elderflower cordial
  • Small piece of ginger
  • 20 ml lime juice
  • 5 oz cold sparkling water
  • Bunch of mint
  • 1 Slice of lemon

Directions: Grate the ginger and add all the pieces and juice to a pitcher. Add cordial and lime juice. Mix well and let it all infuse for a few minutes. Strain and serve with ice. Garnish with mint and lemon slice.

5. Moscow Mule


  • ½ cup ginger beer (get the real stuff, be sure to read labels!) 
  • 1.5 oz lime juice
  • 1.5 oz club soda

Directions: To make this as the authentic cocktail, mix all ingredients in a copper mug with about over half of ice. Stir everything together and garnish with lime wedge.

Feel free to change the fruits, syrups and ounces you use. All of these are delicious, alcohol-free and, if prepared intentionally, can be actually healthy! Cheers.
