*Please note: we are now only accepting submissions from local contributors. Community and authenticity are at the core of our values and it’s important to us to feature real members of our #JuiceNation.*
  • Some guidelines:

We’re all about cultivating a happy, healthy life. We like recipes, advice pieces with digestible, actionable steps for improving one’s health, personal stories of transformation, well explained fitness routines, natural beauty guidance, love-based nutrition… and anything else you can think of. Generally, if it’s not uplifting, accessible and/or having to do with healthy living, it probably won’t find a home with us.

  • What we publish:

We share pieces that are helpful, easy to understand, upbeat, and have a healthy-living twist. We are specifically looking to feature different perspectives on how to cultivate a lush life– full of health, vitality, and happiness. We do not do sarcasm, fear-based nutrition, or gimmicky fads. It is up to the Editor’s discretion on whether your piece suits our audience at that given time. We require the contributor have active social accounts and/or an existing blog. If the submitted piece is informational (rather than a personal story), we require the contributor have experience/accreditation in the field they’re offering guidance on.

  • What we do not publish

We are not interested in SEO-driven submissions. We can’t use posts from content farms or created to boost SEO or to plug a product or brand name. We are unable to accept submissions or bio references that promote a business or service not in line with our philosophy (e.g., a ‘lose weight quick’ scheme).

  • Why write for us?:

When The Juicery started, our mission was to provide a product that was affordable, accessible, nutrient-dense, and delicious. We still stand behind this vision (!), and we acknowledge that there’s a lot more work to be done. We need more partners in shine to move this revolution forward. We ‘pay’ in attribution (for now, help us grow!). We encourage you to create a personal bio that will correspond to your article/articles. We have over 4,000 newsletter subscribers and over 7,000 social media followers that will be notified of your work with each post you submit.

  • Here’s how to submit:

Send your article of 500 – 1,000 words, with a working title, to Tory@Juicery.com. We’ll respond to you if your article has been accepted, please understand that we cannot publish every piece of brilliance that comes through. If you have not heard from us within one week, you can assume we passed on the piece. After one week, you can submit a new article for review.

+ Please do not email to ask for topic suggestions.
+ Please make sure the text of your submission is pasted within the body of the email, not an attachment. For accompanying photos (at least one, high resolution, applicable photo is required), please attach to the email.
+ Include your full name, a short bio, and links to your social accounts and website.
+ For your bio photo, you’ll need to create a Gravatar account (we’ll explain more when your article is accepted).

+ IF POSSIBLE: Please send high resolution, relevant photos with your articles in addition to the one required header photo.

A wonderful example of a complete blog post can be found here.

Please note that we have the right to edit your article to best suit our style, voice, and audience. This includes the possibility of editing or removing links within the article.

As always, thank you (from the depths of our cells) in your interest in our community. We look forward to learning and sharing with you!
